Viña Zorzal Vintage 2019 Bottle Sizes 750ml Country Spain Region Navarra Appellation Navarra DO Wine Type White - Still Varietals 100% Garnacha blanca Farming Organic practicing Vineyard The Garnacha vines are located in the hills between the Ebro Valley and Iberian Mountains in the Fitero area. Soil Stony soils with sediments of the Iberian mountains. Viticulture All vineyard work is done by hand, native plants are used as ground cover, and they fertilize with compost to improve the vine’s resistance to diseases. Vinification The grapes are harvested in the coolest hours of the evening, were stripped from the stalks to then were cold- macerated, extracting the free-run juice after 12 hours of skin contact. The resulting grape must was then fermented using just indigenous yeasts. Once fermentation concluded, the wine was kept with its lees in 1200-liter Flextank and in 500-liter barrels for 6 months.
