Private: Schödl Family Vintage NV Bottle Sizes 750ml Country Austria Region Weinviertel Appellation Loidesthal Wine Type Sparkling Varietals Grüner Veltliner, Weissburgunder, red & white Riesling Farming Organic Vineyard Vineyards around Loidesthal & Blumenthal Soil Löss, Lehm & Sand soils Vinification Ripe and healthy grapes were harvested in the middle of September. After crushing the grapes, they had skin contact for 6 hours to extract flavor and structure from the skins. After gentle pressing, the juice went through fermentation with natural yeasts in stainless steel. At the right amount of residual sugar, the fermenting juice went into the bottle. After finishing natural fermentation in the bottle, the Pet Nat was disgorged. Notes “A refreshing, lively herbal Pétillant Naturel with an endless drinking pleasure.
