Jean-Marc Burgaud Vintage 2022 Bottle Sizes 750ml Country France Region Beaujolais Appellation Morgon Wine Type Red - Still Varietals 100% Gamay Farming Sustainable Vineyard From a single parcel of 1 hectare in the lieu-dit “Les Charmes” situated facing south about 350 meters above the sea level in the western part of cru Morgon. Vines are over 80 years old. Soil Pink granite and schist. Viticulture The vineyard is farmed using organic principles. “Gobelet” pruning method is used. The grapes are sorted by hand on the vine. Vinification Whole cluster semi carbonic maceration for 9 days (25°C/29°C). Racking (décuvage) and blending (assemblage) of “goutte” and “presse” wines. Aging Aged in concrete tank for 6 months.
