Charlopin-Tissier Vintage 2019 Bottle Sizes 750ml Country France Region Burgundy Appellation Marsannay Wine Type Red - Still Varietals Pinot Noir Farming Organic Vineyard From a sloped parcel of 40 year old vines in the middle of les Longeroies in Marsannay. Soil Clay limestone. Viticulture Vines are farmed organically and simple guyot pruning is employed. All vineyard work is done by hand. Vines are planted at a density of 10,000 plants per hectare. Vinification Once harvested, all grapes are fully de-stemmed, undergo a cold maceration and are fermented with natural yeasts. Yann prefers a long, slow élevage on the fine lees. The grapes are pressed to tank and racked to barrique where it rests for 16 months. Aging Aged in barrique (30% new) for 16 months. Bottled unfiltered. Production Extremely limited.
