Viticulture Neither herbicides, pesticides nor any other chemicals were used on any of the vines planted to make our Negre Franc. We do not plough the ground and we leave the grasses and plants to protect the soil. Vinification Grapes are destemmed and placed by gravity into centenarian concrete tanks with resin coating. Cabernet franc grapes are macerated for 18 days at 22º. Cabernet sauvignon grapes for 17 days at 22º. Aging 10 months 300/500 used French oak barrels.
